The Dazzling Dawg offers a relaxing retreat with quiet country vistas and cozy living room siestas.

Our boarding facility is unique in the environment it provides our canine guests.

The Accommodations: 

Every guest has their own private doggy bedroom within a comfortable 4x8 run in our grooming salon. This is where they spend their evenings sleeping, where they dine and where they take relaxing naps throughout the day.

The Amenities:

Every guest that stays at the Dawg is happily social with all the other guests. We only ever have a maximum of 5 dogs staying at any given time. This enables quality structured socialisation and human companionship. Any time the guests are not in their own private rooms, they are out & about, playing with each other.

Besides our large, securely-fenced 60x150 exercise yard, our guests have access to our home. Dogs that stay with us are truly integrated into our family structure. They often spend their evenings snuggling on the sofa in front of the t.v. with us! Our guests also love spending their time assisting us with our outdoor chores, whether it's cheering us on from behind their fence as we work with the horses, or lending a helpful paw during raking, shoveling and mowing seasons.

The Assurances: 

Absolutely all of our guests' social time is supervised and carefully monitored to ensure positive encounters. Every guest that comes to stay with us must first attend a Playdate Interview, arranged before their stay. During this visit temperament, compatibility with other dogs, as well as focus on human figures is established. We respectfully require that all our guests not only abide by our basic manners for polite family members, but we expect them to look to us should times of conflict arise.

Within minutes of most 'parents' leaving, our canine guests soon realise that this is no regular kennel. They're often distracted almost immediately by the other happy guests and typically relax fully before the driveway dust has even settled. Even our most nervous and sensitive guests manage to find a friend, human or canine, to spend their time with.
